Installation Procedure
With the aid of an assistant, install the liftgate. (2)
- Liftgate Hinge Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
- NOTE:
Ensure the clip is fully seated when the rod is reinstalled. If the clip cannot be fully seated, a new rod should be installed.
Liftgate Strut- Left Side (2) - Install
- Install the 2 metal clips (1) to each end of the liftgate strut (2).
- NOTE:
Ensure the clip is fully seated when the rod is reinstalled. If the clip cannot be fully seated, a new rod should be installed.
Liftgate Strut- Right Side (1) - Install
- Install the 2 metal clips at each end of the liftgate strut.
Connect the washer hose and electrical connector and retainers.
- Liftgate Wiring Harness Grommet (2) - Install
- Washer Hose Grommet (1) - Install
Liftgate Weatherstrip (1) - Install
