Removal Procedure

Open the liftgate.

NOTE:

Using the appropriate tool, release the tabs on the back body opening side center gutter (1).

Release the lower actuator retainer clip using a small flat bladed tool to retract clip slightly while removing strut end from corresponding ball stud.

Back Body Opening Side Molding Bolt (1) - Remove
Release the 4 back body opening side gutter retainers and remove the back body opening side gutter (2).
