Removal Procedure

    Instrument Panel Lower Insulator Retainer (1) - Remove [ 2x ]

    Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator (1) - Remove

    Release the retaining tab.

  4. Rotate the front floor courtesy lamp (1) a quarter turn counterclockwise to release.

    Front Floor Courtesy Lamp (1) - Remove

  6. Disconnect the electrical connector.

    Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Outer Filler (1) - Remove

    Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  9. Instrument Panel Fuse Block Access Hole Cover (1) - Remove

    Instrument Panel Trim Pad Bolt (1) - Remove

  11. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
  12. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  13. Instrument Panel Trim Pad (2) - Remove

    Instrument Panel Switch Trim Plate Bolt (1) - Remove

  15. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  16. Instrument Panel Switch Trim Plate (2) - Remove

    Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Handle (1) - Release

  18. Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Bolt (2) - Remove [ 2x ]

    Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  20. Instrument Panel Fuse Block Access Hole Cover (1) - Remove

    Instrument Panel Trim Pad Bolt (1) - Remove

  22. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
  23. Disconnect the electrical connector.
    24. NOTE:

    Use care not to bend or deform the thin area of the instrument panel trim pad.

  24. Instrument Panel Trim Pad (2) - Remove

    NOTE:

    You may have to push down on the lower steering column closeout to clear the instrument panel cluster trim plate.

    Instrument Panel Knee Bolster (1) - Remove

    Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  27. Front Floor Console Applique (1) - Remove

    Front Floor Console Trim Plate Bolt (1) - Remove [ 3x ]

  29. Rear Floor Console Applique (2) - Remove

    Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Bolt (1) - Remove [ 2x ]

    31. NOTE:

    Use a plastic trim tool if necessary.
