Cooler Box Description and Operation

The cooler box is a bin that uses a thermal electric device to cool. The cooled temperature will vary based on the ambient air temperature and the amount of contact to the surrounding box surface.

The ignition must be ON for the cooler box to operate. When the ignition is ON, pressing the momentary switch requests the center console compartment cooler control module to active the box.

When the cooler box is operating, the center console compartment cooler control module illuminates the indicator by providing ground. If the module detects a low voltage condition, the cooler box will not activate and the indicator will flash
