Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the radiator surge tank. Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LYX without KL9) , or Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LTG LYX with KL9)

    WARNING:

    The automatic transmission fluid accumulator may be pressurized greater than 120 psi (827 kpa) and fluid may be hot. When servicing accumulator, key must be OFF for a minimum of 10 minutes. Do not open bleeder screw until instructed to do so or personal injury may result.
