Circuit/System Verification

Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
Verify DTC P182E, P1915 is not set as a history DTC.
- If any of the DTCs are set as history
  Refer to: Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle
Operate the component: S3 Transmission Shift Lever - Select each position
Verify the scan tool parameter: Internal Mode Switch @ K71 Transmission Control Module = Matches the selector lever position
- If not the specified state
  Refer to: Range Selector Lever Cable Adjustment
- Go to next step: If the specified state
Operate the component: S3 Transmission Shift Lever - Select each position
Verify the scan tool parameter:
- { R, D, L } Park/Neutral Position Switch = In Gear
- { P, N } Park/Neutral Position Switch = Park/Neutral
- If not the specified state
  Refer to: Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If the specified state
Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets
  Refer to: Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
All OK.
