Rear Seat Removal and Installation

Preliminary Procedure 
Using a suitable tool, press the button to release the belt from the mini buckle. Rear Center Seat Belt Retractor Replacement
1 Rear Seat Actuator Finish Cover Bolt Cap
2 Rear Seat Bolt [11x]
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure

  1. Fold the seat back down.
  2. Remove the front bolts.
  3. Fold the seat bottom up to gain access to the rear bolts.
  4. Prepare the bolts for installation as follows:
    1. Remove all traces of the adhesive patch from the bolt and the mating threads using the appropriate tools.
    2. Clean the threads of the bolt and mating threads with denatured alcohol or equivalent and allow to dry.
    3. Apply thread locking adhesive to the bolt. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers 
    4. Ensure there are no gaps in the thread locking adhesive once applied to the bolt.

Tighten 
45 N.m (33 lb ft)
3 Rear Seat

Procedure

  1. Disconnect electrical connections, if applicable.
  2. Disconnect the recliner cable from the release lever cable equalizer. Lift the carpet flap to access, slide the retainer door open and disconnect the cable.
  3. Remove elastic band from the seat belt buckles.
  4. With the aid of an assistant remove the rear seat by lifting and pulling the seat upward to disengage it from the floor.
  5. Separate the rear seats. Rear Seat Separation
