Removal Procedure

WARNING:

Refer to Brake Dust Warning .

WARNING:

Refer to Brake Fluid Irritant Warning .

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation

    Brake Pipe Fitting (1) - Disconnect

    Brake Hose Retainer (1) - Remove

    Front Brake Hose Bolt (1) @ Strut Assembly - Remove

    Brake Hose Fitting Bolt (1) - Remove

    NOTE:

    Do not reuse the brake hose fitting gaskets.

    Brake Hose Fitting Gasket (1) @ Brake Hose Fitting (2) - Remove and DISCARD [ 2x ]

  8. Plug the brake caliper inlet to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
