Installation Procedure

  1. Install the input speed sensor seal (3).

  2. Install the input speed sensor (2).
    3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Install the input speed sensor bolt (1) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
  4. Connect the input speed sensor electrical connector.
  5. Remove the drain pan.
  6. Install the left front wheel house liner. Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement .
  7. Check the transmission fluid level and fill with the correct fluid. Transmission Fluid Level and Condition Check
  8. Perform the transmission service fast learn procedure. Transmission Service Fast Learn Procedure .
