Installation Procedure

  1. Install the electronic transmission range selector manual park release cable to the vehicle.
  2. Install the electronic transmission range selector manual park release cable grommet to the cowl panel.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Install the electronic transmission range selector manual park release cable grommet fasteners (1) and tighten to 6.5 N.m (58 lb in).

    Install the electronic transmission range selector manual park release cable (4) to the front floor console support brace.

  5. Install wiring harness retainer (2).
  6. Install the automatic transmission control bracket nut (1).
  7. Install the instrument panel tie bar brace bolt (3) and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
    8. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  8. Install the electronic transmission range selector manual park release cable grommet nuts (1) and tighten to 6.5 N.m (58 lb in).
  9. Install the floor carpet and insulation.

    Install the electronic transmission range selector manual park release cable (2) to the front floor console support brace.

  11. Install the electronic transmission range selector manual park release cable handle bolt (1) and tighten to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

    WARNING:

    After installing the transmission range selector shift cable, pull up and push down on ALL connections to verify that the connections are fully seated and properly engaged. Failure to perform this task can result in the vehicle not being able to shift into PARK causing potential vehicle damage and bodily injury.

    Connect the electronic transmission range selector manual park release cable (2).

  14. Install the automatic transmission range selector lever bolt (1) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

    Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Tube (2) - Install

  16. Retainer Spring (1) - Engage

    Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Tube (3) - Install

  18. Retainer Spring (2) - Engage
  19. Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Tube Bolt (1) - Install and tighten 8.5 N.m (75 lb in)

    Engine Oil Cooler Coolant Outlet Hose (3) - Install - Engine Oil Cooler Coolant Outlet Hose Replacement (LSY)

    Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Tube (1) - Install - Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Tube Replacement



  1. Install the electronic transmission range selector manual park release cable to the vehicle.
  2. Install the electronic transmission range selector manual park release cable grommet to the cowl panel.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Install the electronic transmission range selector manual park release cable grommet fasteners (1) and tighten to 6.5 N.m (58 lb in).

    Install the electronic transmission range selector manual park release cable (4) to the front floor console support brace.

  5. Install wiring harness retainer (2).
  6. Install the automatic transmission control bracket nut (1).

  8. Install the electronic transmission range selector manual park release cable grommet nuts (1) and tighten to 6.5 N.m (58 lb in).

    Install the electronic transmission range selector manual park release cable (2) to the front floor console support brace.

  11. Install the electronic transmission range selector manual park release cable handle bolt (1) and tighten to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

    WARNING:

    After installing the transmission range selector shift cable, pull up and push down on ALL connections to verify that the connections are fully seated and properly engaged. Failure to perform this task can result in the vehicle not being able to shift into PARK causing potential vehicle damage and bodily injury.

    Connect the electronic transmission range selector manual park release cable (2).

  14. Install the automatic transmission range selector lever bolt (1) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

    Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Tube (2) - Install

  16. Retainer Spring (1) - Engage

  18. Retainer Spring (2) - Engage
  19. Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Tube Bolt (1) - Install and tighten 8.5 N.m (75 lb in)
