Installation Procedure

Body Side Wiring Harness Opening Seal (2) - Install NEW
- NOTE:

Control Valve Body Cover Gasket (2) - Install NEW
- Control Valve Body Cover (1) - Install

NOTE:The number (1) bolts are stud bolts.
Install and hand tighten the 12 control valve body cover bolts (1, 2) in sequence.
- Control Valve Body Cover Bolt (1, 2) - Tighten in sequence [12x] 11 N.m (97 lb in)
{with LSY} Automatic Transmission Fluid Cooling Exchanger (2) - Install - Automatic Transmission Fluid Cooling Exchanger Replacement (LSY)
Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Bracket (2) - Install
- Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Bracket Nut (1) - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe (1) - Install - Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe Replacement (LSY)
Automatic Transmission Fluid Cooling Heat Exchanger Inlet Pipe (1) - Install - Automatic Transmission Fluid Cooling Heat Exchanger Inlet Pipe Replacement (LSY)
Connect the control valve body transmission control module electrical connector (1), then clip the wiring harness to the cover.
- Connect the wiring harness retainers as necessary.
Transmission Wiring Harness Bracket (2) - Install
- Transmission Wiring Harness Bracket Nut (1) - Install and tighten [2x] 9 N.m (80 lb in)
- Fill the transmission with correct fluid. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
- Check transmission fluid level. Transmission Fluid Level and Condition Check
- Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
- Check for leaks.
