Removal Procedure

    Radiator Surge Tank Bolt (1) - Remove

  2. Radiator Surge Tank (2) - Reposition
  3. Disconnect the auxiliary fluid accumulator electrical connector.

    WARNING:

    The automatic transmission fluid accumulator may be pressurized greater than 120 psi (827 kpa) and fluid may be hot. When servicing accumulator, key must be OFF for a minimum of 10 minutes. Do not open bleeder screw until instructed to do so or personal injury may result.
