Installation Procedure

Apply sealer (1) around the perimeter of the oil pan (2). Oil Pan Installation (FWD) Oil Pan Installation (AWD)
- NOTE:
Ensure that the different length bolts are installed in the same positions from which they were removed.
NOTE:When installing the oil pan, carefully align the oil pan to the locating pins and install the pan onto the lower crankcase.
Coat the oil pan bolts (1) and (2) with sealant prior to installation. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
- Loosely install the oil pan bolts.(1, 2)
- Tighten the oil pan bolts in sequence. Oil Pan Installation (FWD) Oil Pan Installation (AWD)
Torque Converter Cover(4) - Install
- Install the transmission bolts.(1, 2) Transmission Replacement (FWD)Transmission Replacement (AWD)
- Exhaust Front Pipe - Install Exhaust Front Pipe Replacement (LTG)Exhaust Front Pipe Replacement (LYX)
- Engine Oil Level Indicator Control Module Wiring Harness - Install - Engine Oil Level Indicator Control Module Wiring Harness Replacement
- Change the engine oil and filter. Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement
NOTE:
Inspect for excessive sealer around the oil filter mounting area. If extra sealer is present remove and clean
accordingly.
