Installation Procedure

Timing Chain Tensioner Shoe(2) - Install
- Timing Chain Tensioner Shoe Bolt(1) - Install and tighten25 N.m (18 lb ft)
Release the tensioner plunger (1). Timing Chain Tensioner Replacement
Inspect the timing chain marks to confirm they remained aligned after engaging the timing chain tensioner.
Remove camshaft holding tool EN-51367 (1).
- Using a suitable tool, rotate the crankshaft one complete engine cycle then verify the timing chain marks (1, 2 and 3) are aligned properly.
- Engine Front Cover Replacement - Install
