Removal Procedure

Loosen the transmission mount strut bolt (2) at the transmission mount strut (3). Transmission Mount Strut Replacement (All Wheel Drive)Transmission Mount Strut Replacement (Front Wheel Drive)
Position two floor jacks with wood blocks under the engine and transaxle in order to support the powertrain assembly.
Lower the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

Loosen ONLY the engine mount to engine mount bracket bolts (1). Engine Mount Replacement

NOTE:
Only the transmission mount to transmission bolts should be loosened. Bolts (1) should remain tightened during the balancing procedure.
