NOTE:
The engine could be equipped with two different rear oil seal designs.

Check which of the crankshaft rear oil seals (1, 2) is installed.

CAUTION:
Be careful that the crankshaft will not be damaged while the crankshaft rear oil seal is pulled out. Failing to do so may reduce the leak-tightness and could cause damage to the crankshaft.

NOTE:
Use a suitable tool to remove the seal.
