Installation Procedure

Position the oil deflector (2) then hand start the oil deflector fasteners (1).

CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten the fasteners in sequence as shown to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

NOTE:
Ensure that the retainer (3) is properly installed.

NOTE:
Inspect the seal (4) and install NEW if necessary.

Position the positive crankcase ventilation oil separator drain pipe (2) then hand start the fastener (1). Tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
Install the upper oil pan. Refer to Upper Oil Pan Replacement .
