Installation Procedure

NOTE:
Lubricate the NEW vacuum pump seal with clean engine oil before installing to the special tool.

Install the NEW vacuum pump seal (1) to the DT-45866 installer (2).

NOTE:
- The vacuum pump seal must NOT deform during the installation procedure.
- Ensure the vacuum pump seal is FULLY seated into the camshaft cover.
Use the DT-45866 installer to install the NEW vacuum pump seal (1) into the camshaft cover.

Position the engine wiring harness junction block.
