Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the transmission mount strut. Transmission Mount Strut Replacement (All Wheel Drive) , or Transmission Mount Strut Replacement (Front Wheel Drive)

    Remove and DISCARD the 2 transmission rear mount strut bracket to power transfer unit bolts (1) and (2).

  3. Remove and DISCARD the 2 transmission rear mount strut bracket to transmission bolts (4) and (5).
  4. Remove the transmission rear mount strut bracket (3) from the transmission.
