Preliminary Procedures

  1. Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static) 
  2. Turbocharger Heat Shield Replacement
  3. Warm Up Three-Way Catalytic Converter Replacement (LYX) , or Warm Up Three-Way Catalytic Converter Replacement (LTG)
1 Turbocharger Coolant Feed Pipe Hollow Screw
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
35 N.m (26 lb ft)
2 Retainer
Procedure 
Install a NEW retainer.
3 Turbocharger Coolant Feed Pipe
