Installation Procedure

NOTE:
The brake hose assembly fittings are indexed for proper assembly.

Position the rear brake hose assembly to the rear axle bracket and install the brake hose assembly clips (1).

CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the right rear brake pipe fitting (1) to the rear brake hose assembly and tighten the fitting to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).
Install the left rear brake pipe fitting (2) to the rear brake hose assembly and tighten the fitting to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).

Position the rear brake hose assembly bracket to the frame rail.
Install the rear brake hose assembly bracket bolt and tighten to 16 N.m (12 lb ft).

Install the left rear brake pipe fitting (1) to the rear brake hose assembly and tighten the fitting to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).
Install the right rear brake pipe fitting (2) to the rear brake hose assembly and tighten the fitting to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).
Bleed the hydraulic brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual) , or Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure) .
