Installation Procedure

Install the rear brake hose.

NOTE:
Install new brake hose fitting gaskets.

Position the brake hose fitting (1) with 2 new brake hose fitting gaskets (2) to the rear brake caliper.

CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the brake hose fitting bolt (1) and tighten to 34 N.m (25 lb ft).

Position the rear brake hose to the rear axle bracket and install the brake hose retaining clip (1).

Install the brake pipe fitting (1) to the rear brake hose and tighten the fitting to 16 N.m (12 lb ft).
Bleed the hydraulic brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual) , or Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure) .
