Removal Procedure
- Apply the brake pedal several times until the pedal becomes firm to deplete the vacuum reserve in the brake booster.
- Remove the intake manifold cover. Intake Manifold Cover Replacement
- Disconnect the power brake booster vacuum sensor electrical connector.
Remove the power brake booster vacuum sensor (1) from the power brake booster.
Release the power brake booster vacuum hose quick connect (1) from the vacuum pump.
- Remove the power brake booster vacuum hose assembly from the vehicle.
