Removal Procedure

WARNING:

Refer to Brake Fluid Irritant Warning .

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation

    Release the front wheel speed sensor harness from the clip (1) on the brake hose bracket and position the harness aside.

    Remove the brake pipe fitting (1) from the front brake hose.

  5. Cap the brake pipe fitting to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.

    Remove the brake hose bracket bolt (1).

    Remove the front brake hose fitting bolt (1).

  8. NOTE:

    Do not reuse the brake hose fitting gaskets.

  9. Remove and discard the brake hose fitting gaskets (2) from the front brake hose (3).
  10. Remove the front brake hose assembly.
  11. Plug the brake caliper inlet to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
