Installation Procedure

  1. Install the front brake hose assembly.

    NOTE:

    Install NEW brake hose fitting gaskets.

    Assemble the brake hose fitting bolt (1) and 2 NEW brake hose fitting gaskets (2) to the brake hose fitting (3).

    3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Install the brake hose assembly to the brake caliper and tighten the fitting bolt to 44 N.m (32 lb ft).

    Install the brake hose bracket bolt (1) and tighten to 16 N.m (12 lb ft).

    Install the brake pipe fitting (1) to the front brake hose and tighten the fitting to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).

    Secure the front wheel speed sensor harness to the clip (1) on the brake hose bracket.

  7. Bleed the hydraulic brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual) , or Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure) 
  8. Check for brake system leaks.
