Installation Procedure

  1. Install the master cylinder primary brake pipe to the vehicle.

    Install the retainers (1) for the body harness.

    Remove plug from the BPMV inlet port.

  4. Install the master cylinder primary brake pipe fitting (1) to the BPMV. Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Replacement

    Install the master cylinder primary brake pipe to the top frame rail retaining clip (1).

  6. Reposition the vehicle body to the frame and install the cushions. Body Mount Upper and Lower Cushion Replacement (Long Wheel Base) , or Body Mount Upper and Lower Cushion Replacement (Short Wheel Base)
  7. {If equipped} Install evaporative emission rear pipe.
  8. Install fuel feed rear pipe.

    Install the master cylinder primary brake pipe to the left frame rail retaining clips (1).

    Install the master cylinder primary brake pipe to the retaining clips (1).

  11. Connect left front wheel speed sensor harness connector. Front Wheel Speed Sensor Replacement (Without ZR2) , or Front Wheel Speed Sensor Replacement (With ZR2)
  12. Install the left front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (Without ZR2) , or Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (With ZR2) , or Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (Bison) .
  13. Install the intermediate steering shaft. Refer to Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement .

    NOTE:

    Some components not shown for graphic clarity.

    Remove the plugs from the master cylinder outlet port.

  15. Install the master cylinder primary brake pipe fitting (1). Brake Master Cylinder Replacement 
  16. Bleed the hydraulic brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual) , or Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure)
