Preliminary Procedure Remove the front compartment front sight shield. Refer to Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Replacement
1	Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Bolts (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . NOTE: Use a grease pencil to mark the location of the hood latch before removing the bolts. Tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
2	Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Procedure Disconnect the hood release cable from hood latch. Disconnect any electrical connectors. Align the hood latch if necessary.
