Rear Side Door Front Auxiliary Weatherstrip Replacement

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the body hinge pillar garnish molding. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement (Left Side) , or Body Hinge Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement (Right Side) .
  2. Remove the rear side door sill garnish molding. Refer to Rear Side Door Sill Garnish Molding Replacement .
1 Rear Side Door Front Auxiliary Weatherstrip

Procedures

  1. Start at the rear upper corner of the door opening and pull the weatherstrip away from the door opening flange.
  2. Position the weatherstrip in the upper corner of the center pillar.
  3. Working downward along the front edge, install the weatherstrip on the door opening flange ensuring that the carrier is fully seated in the corners.
  4. Ensure that the weatherstrip is seated on the entire door opening flange.
NOTE:

Inspect the door to ensure a proper seal after the weatherstrip has been replaced.
