Powertrain Mount Balancing (FWD)

- Air Cleaner Assembly - Remove - Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement
- Engine Support Fixture - Install - Engine Support Fixture
- Raise the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
Transmission Mount Strut Bracket Bolt (1) - Loosen
Transmission Front Mount Bolt (1) - Loosen
- Lower the vehicle.
Engine Mount Bolt (1) - Remove and DISCARD [3x]
- Loosely install the 3 NEW engine mount bolts (1).
Transmission Mount Transmission Side Bolt (3) - Remove and DISCARD [4x] - Transmission Mount Replacement
- Loosely install the 4 NEW transmission mount transmission side bolts (3).
- Adjust the engine support fixture in order to allow a 1/8 inch gap between the mount and bracket.
- Shake the powertrain vigorously from front to rear and allow the powertrain to settle.
Transmission Mount Transmission Side Bolt (3) - Tighten [4x] - Transmission Mount Replacement
Engine Mount Bolt (1) - Tighten [3x] - Engine Mount Replacement
- Raise the vehicle.
Transmission Front Mount Bolt (1) - Tighten - Transmission Front Mount Replacement
Transmission Mount Strut Bracket Bolt (1) - Tighten - Transmission Mount Strut Bracket Replacement (Front Wheel Drive)
- Lower the vehicle.
- Engine Support Fixture - Remove - Engine Support Fixture
- Air Cleaner Assembly - Install - Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement
