Circuit/System Description

Circuit Description
Control - Terminal 28 The output circuit is switched to 12 V to activate the component.
Control - Terminal 10 The output circuit is switched to ground to activate the component.
Component Description
K71 Transmission Control Module The control module contains a microprocessor used to process input data to control outputs.
M123 Transmission Park Valve Lock Solenoid Actuator A linear solenoid actuator is an electro-mechanical device that converts electrical power into a mechanical pushing or pulling force or motion.

When the M123 Transmission Park Valve Lock Solenoid Actuator/Transmission Control Solenoid Valve 11 is energized, it prevents the transmission from going into park, by holding the Park Release Servo Pistonin the extended position.
