Installation Procedure

    NOTE:

    Some components not shown for graphic clarity.

    Brake System Control Module (1) - Install

  2. Electronic Brake Control Module Bolt (2) - Install NEW [6x]
    3. CAUTION:

    Fastener Caution

  3. Electronic Brake Control Module Bolt (1) - Tighten in sequence [6x]
    1. First Pass: 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
    2. Final Pass: 3.5 N.m (31 lb in)
  4. Brake Master Cylinder - Install - Brake Master Cylinder Replacement - With Power Brake Booster and Electronic Brake Control Module 
  5. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  6. Reprogram the brake system control module. Control Module References
  7. Bleed the brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual without JEO) , or Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure without JEO) , or Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure with JEO) 
  8. Inspect for fluid leaks.
