Component Testing

  1. Remove the component : Control Valve Body Cover
  2. Disconnect the appropriate electrical connector : Q77 Transmission Control Solenoid Valve
  3. Test the resistance between the test points : Terminal 1@Q77 Transmission Control Solenoid Valve & Terminal 2@Q77 Transmission Control Solenoid Valve

    Verify the value is within the range listed in the table : Transmission Solenoid Information

    • If not in the specified range 

      Replace the component : Q77 Transmission Control Solenoid Valve

    • Go to next step : If in the specified range 
  4. Test for infinite resistance between the test points : Terminal 1@Q77 Transmission Control Solenoid Valve & Ground
    • If less than infinite resistance 

      Replace the component : Q77 Transmission Control Solenoid Valve

    • Go to next step : If infinite resistance 
  5. All OK.
