Circuit/System Verification

WARNING:
Apply the parking brake and block the drive wheels before performing this procedure in order to prevent bodily injury.
- Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Transmission Range - P
- Verify the scan tool parameter: Transmission Range Control Valve Position Sensor = 0.6 to 1.0 V
- If not between 0.6 and 1.0 V

- Go to next step: If between 0.6 and 1.0 V
- If not between 0.6 and 1.0 V
- Engine - Running
- Transmission Range - D
- Verify the scan tool parameter: Transmission Range Control Valve Position Sensor = 1.7 to 2.2 V
- If not between 1.7 and 2.2 V

- Go to next step: If between 1.7 and 2.2 V
- If not between 1.7 and 2.2 V
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets

- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
- If the DTC sets
- All OK.
