Intake Manifold Cover (3) - Remove - Intake Manifold Cover Replacement
Air Cleaner Outlet Duct (2) - Remove - Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement
Positive Crankcase Ventilation Hose (1) - Remove - Positive Crankcase Ventilation Hose/Pipe/Tube Replacement
Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve (1) - Remove - Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve Replacement
Throttle Body Assembly (2) - Remove - Throttle Body Assembly Replacement
Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose (3)@Engine Coolant Air Bleed Pipe - Remove - Engine Coolant Air Bleed Pipe Replacement (LCV)
Engine Wiring Harness (1)@Intake Manifold - Unclip [2x]
Electrical Connector (1) - Disconnect
- Electrical Connector (2) - Disconnect
- Electrical Connector (3) - Disconnect
- Engine Wiring Harness (4) - Reposition away
Engine Wiring Harness Retainer (1)@Intake Manifold - Remove [2x]
- Raise the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
Engine Wiring Harness Retainer (1)@Intake Manifold - Remove [2x]
- NOTE:
The intake manifold bolts are retained in the intake manifold. Fully loosen the bolts until the threads are disengaged from the cylinder head.
Intake Manifold Bolt (1) - Loosen
- Lower the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- Remove the positive crankcase ventilation valve - secondary (2).
- Remove the positive crankcase ventilation valve - fresh (3).
- Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve Seal (4) - Remove and DISCARD [2x]
Intake Manifold Bolt (2) - Loosen [5x]
- Intake Manifold (3) - Reposition away
Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Fuel Pressure Sensor (3) - Remove - Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Fuel Pressure Sensor Replacement
Rotate the intake manifold (1) approximately 180 degrees so that the bottom is facing up.
- Intake Manifold (1) - Remove
Intake Manifold Gasket (1) - Remove and DISCARD
- Clean and inspect the intake manifold. Intake Manifold Cleaning and Inspection
Inspect the O-ring and replace if necessary.
