Range Selector Lever Link Adjustment

  1. Remove the engine control module bracket. Engine Control Module Bracket Replacement
  2. Fig 1: Adjuster Bolt, Linkage End Fitting And Transmission Lever Ball Stud

  3. Loosen the adjuster bolt (1).
  4. Remove the linkage end fitting (2) from the transmission lever ball stud (3).
  5. Ensure the linkage end fitting (2) can freely slide on rod (4).
  6. Reinstall the end fitting (2) over the transmission lever ball stud (3).
  7. Tighten the adjuster bolt (1) to 4.7 N.m (42 lb in).
  8. Install the engine control module bracket. Engine Control Module Bracket Replacement
  9. Perform the transmission range control module range motor position learn procedure, Transmission Range Control Module Range Motor Position Learn (with MHG)
  10. Perform Transmission Adaptive Values Learn. Transmission Adaptive Values Learn
