Installation Procedure

  1. Install the EN-51145-1  installer (1) to the crankshaft.
  2. Install the crankshaft rear oil seal (2) to the EN-51145-1  installer (1).

  3. Pull in the crankshaft rear oil seal with the EN-51145-2  installer (2) and the DT-523-1  handle (3).
  4. Remove the EN-51145  installer.
    5. Fig 3: Ensure Crankshaft Rear Oil Seal Is Properly Seated

  5. Check the proper seat (1) of the crankshaft rear oil seal.
  6. Install the crankshaft position sensor reluctor ring. Refer to Crankshaft Position Sensor Reluctor Ring Replacement .
