Exhaust Camshaft Removal

Special Tools

• EN-50509  Split Intake Camshaft Sprocket Fixing Tool
• EN-51143  Camshaft Sprocket Fixing Tool

1. Remove the EN-51143  fixing tool (1).

2. Remove the camshaft bearing rear cap bolts (1).
3. Remove the camshaft bearing rear cap (2).

4. Install the EN-50509  fixing tool (1) to the exhaust camshaft sprocket (2).

5. Loosen the 8 exhaust camshaft bearing cap bolts in sequence as shown.

6. Remove the 8 exhaust camshaft bearing cap bolts (1).
7. Remove the 4 exhaust camshaft bearing caps (2) and lay aside in the order as they was removed.

NOTE:

If the exhaust camshaft are reinstall, do not remove the EN-50509  fixing tool.

8. Remove the exhaust camshaft (1).
