Installation Procedure

    NOTE:

    Ensure the tensioner spring is retained in the correct position prior to installation.

  1. Install the oil pump drive chain tensioner (2).
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the oil pump drive chain tensioner bolt (1) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  3. Remove the suitable tool (2) from the oil pump drive chain tensioner (1).
  4. Install Engine Front Cover Replacement .
