Installation Procedure

    NOTE:

    Upon installation of the intake manifold, ensure the gasket remains properly seated into the intake manifold (2).

  1. Install a NEW intake manifold gasket.

  2. Install the intake manifold (2).
  3. Hand tighten the bolts.

  4. Tighten the bolts in sequence. 12 N.m (106 lb in)

  5. Install Engine Wiring Harness Bracket (2).
  6. Install Engine Wiring Harness Bracket Bolt (1) - and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in) [2x]
  7. Install Fuel Feed Front Pipe - Fuel Feed Front Pipe Replacement
  8. Install Throttle Body Assembly - Throttle Body Assembly Replacement

  9. Connect the electrical connectors.(1, 2)
  10. Install Wiring Harness Retainer (3)
  11. Install Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve - Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve Replacement
  12. Install Intake Manifold Cover - Intake Manifold Cover Replacement
