Installation Procedure

  1. Install Engine Flywheel (2)
    2. NOTE:

    Install NEW bolts.

    NOTE:

    Bolts have adhesive patch and must be tightened to final torque within 5 minutes.

  2. Loosely install Automatic Transmission Flex Plate Bolt (1)

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Torque-to-Yield Fastener Caution .

  3. Tighten the flywheel bolts in the sequence shown.

    Tighten

    1. First Pass:20 N.m (15 lb ft)
    2. Second Pass:30 N.m (22 lb ft)
    3. Final Pass:70 degrees, using the EN-45059  angle meter
  4. Remove the EN-51760  Holding tool.
  5. Install Transmission - Transmission Replacement (Front Wheel Drive except Diesel Engine)Transmission Replacement (All Wheel Drive except Diesel Engine)Transmission Replacement (All Wheel Drive with Diesel Engine, Equinox)Transmission Replacement (Front Wheel Drive with Diesel Engine)Transmission Replacement (All Wheel Drive with Diesel Engine, Terrain)
