Drive Belt Tensioner Diagnosis

Diagnosis consists of a function check on the automatic belt tensioner and a visual check on the belt and the components linked to the belt.

  1. Apply the tension to the belt tensioner via the cast projection (1) in the direction of the arrow, counterclockwise, and allow to slide back slowly.
  2. The tensioner must slide back to the initial position.
