Reductant Tank Heater

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Ignition Off, disconnect the harness connector at the A38 Reductant Pump and Sensor Assembly.
    2. NOTE:

    The DMM and test leads must be calibrated to 0 Ω in order to prevent misdiagnosis.

  2. Test for 1 - 2 Ω between terminals 9 - 11 at the A38 Reductant Pump and Sensor Assembly.
    • If less than 1 Ω or greater than 2 Ω 

      Replace the A38 Reductant Pump and Sensor Assembly.

    • Go to next step: If between 1 - 2 Ω 
  3. Test for infinite resistance between each terminal and the A38 Reductant Pump and Sensor Assembly housing/case.
    • If less than infinite resistance 

      Replace the A38 Reductant Pump and Sensor Assembly.

    • Go to next step: If infinite resistance 
  4. All OK.
