Conditions for Running the DTC

P034A

• DTC P0335, P0336, or P0651 is not set.
• The engine has started rotating during an auto-start event.
• The crankshaft position is being verified.

The DTC runs each time the engine is started once the above conditions are met.

P034B

• DTC P0335, P0336, or P0651 is not set.
• Engine speed is between 400 - 2000 RPM.
• The airflow into the engine is greater than 1.5 g/s.
• The engine control module (ECM) detects crankshaft position sensor pulses.

The DTCs run continuously once the above conditions are met.
