Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the engine oil. Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement 
  2. Engine Front Cover - Remove - Engine Front Cover Replacement 
  3. Drivetrain and Front Suspension Cradle - Remove - Drivetrain and Front Suspension Cradle Replacement (Front Wheel Drive)
  4. Oil Pump Flow Control Valve Heat Shield - Remove - Oil Pump Flow Control Valve Heat Shield Replacement
  5. Exhaust Front Pipe - Remove - Exhaust Front Pipe Replacement (LCV)

    Catalytic Converter Brace Bolt (1) - Remove (Qty: 2)

  7. Catalytic Converter Brace (2) - Remove

    Air Conditioning Compressor Bolt (1) - Remove

    Disconnect the electrical connector. (1) - Disconnect

  10. Retainer (2) - Remove
  11. Transmission Bolt (3) - Remove

    Oil Pan Bolt (1) - Remove

    NOTE:

    Mark the position of the oil pan bolts because of different length.

    Oil Pan Bolt (1, 2, 3) - Remove

  14. Oil Pan - Clean and inspect - Oil Pan Cleaning and Inspection  -
  15. Transfer components as necessary.
