Removal Procedure

- Intake Manifold Cover - Remove - Intake Manifold Cover Replacement
Positive Crankcase Ventilation Hose (1) - Remove - Positive Crankcase Ventilation Hose/Pipe/Tube Replacement
- Fuel Feed Front Pipe - Remove - Fuel Feed Front Pipe Replacement
- Air Cleaner Outlet Duct - Remove - Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement
- Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve - Remove - Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve Replacement
- Throttle Body Assembly - Remove - Throttle Body Assembly Replacement
- Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose @ Engine Coolant Air Bleed Pipe - Disconnect - Engine Coolant Air Bleed Pipe Replacement (LCV)
Electrical Connector (1) - Disconnect
- Electrical Connector (2) - Disconnect
- Electrical Connector (3) - Disconnect
- Engine Wiring Harness (4) - Reposition away
- Raise the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
- NOTE:
The intake manifold bolts are retained in the intake manifold. Fully loosen the bolts until the threads are disengaged from the cylinder head.
Intake Manifold Bolt (1) - Loosen
Lower the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
Remove the wiring harness retainers (1), then reposition the harness (2) as needed.
Intake Manifold Bolt (2) - Loosen (Qty: 5)
- Intake Manifold (3) - Reposition
- Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Fuel Pressure Sensor - Remove - Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Fuel Pressure Sensor Replacement
- Intake Manifold (3) - Remove
Intake Manifold Gasket (1) - Remove and DISCARD
- Clean and inspect the intake manifold. Intake Manifold Cleaning and Inspection
