Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Using the outline made by the spray paint or marker, position the transmission mount to the drivetrain and front suspension cradle.
  2. GM4287551
    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Install the NEW transmission rear mount bolts (2) and nuts and tighten the bolts to 100 N.m (74 lb ft) plus 95 to 105 degrees.

  3. Install the drivetrain and front suspension cradle to it's original position. Drivetrain and Front Suspension Cradle Removal and Installation (All Wheel Drive)
  4. Install the transmission mount to bracket through bolt (1) and tighten to 100 N.m (74 lb ft).
  5. Install the two piece propeller shaft. Two-Piece Propeller Shaft Replacement .
  6. Remove the jack stand.
  7. Lower the vehicle.
