1	Sealant Procedure Ensure proper use of room temperature vulcanizing (RTV) sealant. Use of Room Temperature Vulcanizing (RTV) and Anaerobic Sealant Place a 3 mm (0.118 in) bead of RTV sealant on the block pan rail and the crankshaft rear oil seal housing (1). Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers (LF4)Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers (LGX) for recommended sealant.
2	Oil Pan
3	Oil Pan Bolt CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . NOTE: Tighten the oil pan bolts in sequence shown. Tighten 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
4	Oil Pan Bolt NOTE: Install a NEW bolt. Do NOT reuse the old bolt. Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown. Tighten First Pass: 7 N.m (62 lb in) Final Pass: 180 Degrees
5	Oil Pan Bolt Tighten 25 N.m (18 lb ft) NOTE: Tighten the oil pan bolts in sequence shown.
6	Oil Pan Bolt NOTE: Tighten the oil pan bolts in sequence shown. Tighten 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
