Removal Procedure

  1. Engine Front Cover- Remove Engine Front Cover Replacement (LF4) Engine Front Cover Replacement 
  2. Remove the oil pump timing chain tensioner. Camshaft Timing Chain Components Removal (LF4)Camshaft Timing Chain Components Removal (LGX) .
  3. Clean and inspect all of the camshaft timing drive components. Camshaft Timing Drive Components Cleaning and Inspection (LF4)Camshaft Timing Drive Components Cleaning and Inspection (LGX) .Replace components as necessary.
