Removal Procedure

  1. Front Differential Carrier Assembly Remove - Front Differential Carrier Assembly Replacement
  2. Drain the engine oil. Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement (LGX, AWD)

  3. Engine Oil Level Indicator Switch Disconnect the electrical connector.
  4. Engine Wiring Harness Retainer - Disconnect
  5. Oil Level Indicator Tube Remove - Oil Level Indicator Tube Replacement (LGX) 
  6. Engine Mount Bracket- Remove - Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Left Side (LGX) , and Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Right Side (LGX - AWD) 
  7. Catalytic Converter Brace Bracket Remove - Catalytic Converter Brace Bracket Replacement (LGX)
    8. Fig 2: Lower Transmission To Engine Bolts

  8. Remove the lower transmission to engine bolts.

  9. Oil Pan Bolt - Remove
  10. Oil Pan- Remove
  11. Oil Pan Cleaning and Inspection (LGX AWD)
  12. Disassemble the oil pan as necessary. Oil Pan Disassemble (LGX AWD)
