Installation Procedure

  1. Assemble the engine front cover. Engine Front Cover Assemble (LGX)
    2. Fig 1: Front Cover

  2. Use the EN-46109  pins in order to install the engine front cover. Engine Front Cover Installation (LGX)
  3. Water Pump Install - Water Pump Replacement (LGX)
  4. Water Pump Inlet Pipe Install - Water Pump Inlet Pipe Replacement (LGX)
  5. Oil Pump Flow Control Solenoid Valve Electrical Connector Connect
  6. Position engine harness and attach harness retainers to engine front cover.
  7. Install the ground cable and the fastener to the front engine cover. Tighten fastener to 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

  9. Engine Coolant Air Bleed Pipe Install - Engine Coolant Air Bleed Pipe Replacement (LGX)
  10. Crankshaft Balancer Install - Crankshaft Balancer Replacement (LGX)

  11. Install the water outlet (2) with radiator hose. Water Outlet Replacement (LGX)
  12. Engine Oil Cooler Adapter Install - Engine Oil Cooler Adapter Replacement (LGX)
